ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage course ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage is the foundation course for complementary therapy. The course provides students with a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology of the body so that they have a complete knowledge of the structure and functions of each area on which they are working. The course includes holistic massage incorporating the classical movements treating the whole body. ITEC Diploma in Reflexology course Students are taken through the history and philosophy of this age-old therapy. The course covers the reflex zones and the related reflex areas as well as common disorders and ways in which to treat them. Students sitting ITEC Reflexology diploma must also hold diplomas in Anatomy & Physiology and Professional Conduct. These can be taken as ancillary subjects when studying. Thai Massage (Level 1) course This Thai Massage Course includes information about the historical background, benefits and contraindications of Thai massage and the energy lines. The participant will learn acupressure techniques with the thumbs, the palms of the hands, the elbows and the feet and passive stretches for the following body parts: head, neck, shoulders, face, back lying on the side, back face down, arms, abdomen and legs. Thai Table Massage course In the Thai Table Massage Course the participants will learn the level I techniques adapted to the massage bed. This technique is especially suitable for elderly clients, clients with reduced flexibility and for women after the third month of pregnancy. This method is also recommedned if the masseuse/masseur has knee problems, seeing as she/he cannot give the traditional thai massage on the mattress on the floor.
